Hi Dawn....I LOVE the 12-step idea in parenting a kiddo on the spectrum. Checked out your blog and subscribed. Before becoming a SAHM I actually worked w/ folks in addictions and mental health as a social worker, and now am finding that I need to apply that stuff to myself. The serenity prayer is my mantra! Still trying to do the self-care thing better, but it's coming along. Hopeful Parents is a great place :)
