I am the mom of a teenager with multiple disabilities, including deafblindness. I am also an editor, essayist, play wright, and the owner of Medusa's Muse press, a book publishing company specializing in memoir. In my spare time (ha!) I am in the Orientation and Mobility Specialist program at SFSU, where I'm getting my masters. So yeah, I'm a little busy. For fun I like to... wait, that's more than 60 words.

The bus will arrive at 7:00 am to carry my sleeping daughter to school, so at 6:30 I hit the snooze button on my alarm. When it goes off again at 6:45, I roll out of bed, walk down the hall and switch on her bedroom light.
