The Diagnosis just keep coming

My twins, my husband and myself just got back from the NIH in Bethesda, Maryland middle of last week. We flew there to participate in a twin/sib discordant study that Dr. Lisa Rider is doing for Juvenile Dermatamyostitis patients. Have you ever hear the expression mother lion or mother bear? Have you ever been called that? I have. I don't want to be a helicopter parent hovering over my kids all of the time. Snails on the loose

Apparently there are snails roaming the vast tundra of my home. Who knew? They came in with the help of the twins but unfortunately didn't exit. In regard to your post Jennifer both boys were suspended. I'm all for homeschooling actually. If I'd had the chance back when they started I would have but I was a single parent and couldn't do it. My middle son was suspended from school today. Now I find this ironic because the child who he was fighting with him today, has been picking on him for weeks. School staff have been aware of the situation and little if anything has happened. Now the principal calls me today and tells me she is suspending my fifth grader for two of the remaining five days of school for defending himself against this bully.
