Our Blog:
We are a family of four with two children, both of whom joined our family through adoption. Our son Kai has multiple special needs: PDD-NOS, Mixed Receptive-Expressive Language Disorder, Multiple Motor and Sensory Dyspraxias, Psychosocial Growth Retardation (including growth hormone inadequacy) and PTSD (in the form of Developmental Trauma Disorder) as a result of profound neglect at his orphanage. Our son also has possible Static Encephalopathy. He is in early childhood special education, and also is currently receiving ABA therapy through Easter Seals.
I look forward to connecting with other parents of kiddos with special needs here. Our experiences are unique indeed!
