My name is Peggikaye (Pk works, prefer it to Peggi or Peg ..defnitely not Peg)

I'm a mom to 2 adult kids ...Samuel is 21 and has tourette's and OCD

Benjamin is 18 and has multiple issues, including, but not necessarily limited to:

Arnold Chiari Malformation

Bi frontal Lobe Atrophy

Cyclical Vommiting Syndrome

Abdominal Migraines (which, depending on who you talk to, may be the same as cyclical vomitting syndrome, may only be related)

Migraines

Tourette's syndrome (mild)

OCD (moderate)

IQ of 80

Auditory processing disorder  (moderate)

Visual processing disorder (moderate)

Sensory Integration Dysfunction (severe)

Asthma

Epilepsy (last seizure was at age 13, though he's had aura's of seizures on a regular basis)

Eczema  (we were told he'd out grow it by age 1 yr, 18 years later, we're still waiting (he'll be 19 next month)

In the past we've dealt with:

Craniosynostosis (they suspect that's the cause of the bifrontal lobe atrophy)

He's been mis dx'd as autistic, was, in fact a severe case of sensory integration ..when that got treated, the autistic like characteristics faded. Now, social skills is his strong suit.

He got very ill with mono in september and we're still dealing with the fall out of it, which includes being unable to finish high school before the age of 21, so we've pulled him out and are looking at alternatives for him.
