where parents of kids with special needs connect

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knows of any goods blogs actually written by people who self identify as having a disability.

Thanks, I look forward to your suggestions.

Hi check out this site at Temple University. Every month they moderate a disability blog carnival which is hosted by a different blogger each month. The host complies all the submission and you will find a dozen or more such blogs in each months carnival. I think all the past ones are listed on the Temple site below. Alll blogs are written by individuals with disabilities and occasionally by a freind or parent - but 90% of the authors are disabled themselves. In fact, I've submitted a couple - which are part of the "carnival" but I realize it's not really a forum for parents, but for the disabled themselves.

Thank you.
There was a blog called autistic female which was absolutely fantastic, but I tried to get into the site a few months ago and it kept crashing.  May be it has been repaired by now.  I am setting up a blog as I  myself am deaf and am just in the process of planning it out at the moment.
I follow a blog written by a woman with autism. I'm not sure where she is on the spectrum, but she is in college. Her blog is called Reports from a Resident Alien. She does not post often, but when she does it is well worth reading!
